If I made a magnetic motor ...
that could run a kart with two people about how the traction do you think I need to start the engine? I guess about 100 lbs. traction force or more. Everyone knows that experience. Also how much force traction would I need to run a generator?
Resistance Force = Force of friction * Normal Coeefiecient power = force of resistance * I suppose that the friction velocity is about 0.1 Coeeficient - you know better about it. Then, the force is the weight of the Gokart * 0.1, depends how heavy are the 2 people and the kart is. The resistance force would be about 15 lbs if 2 children when riding and up to 100 lb if the consumption of beer 2 men are riding. The power required by the engine is the drag force multiplied by velocity; Cheers
