Think back to the rescue plan that was adopted last month (Also known as the "Emergency Economic Stabilization Act of 2008). Well, included in the fine print of this bill has been restoration home tax credits for energy efficiency, which were discontinued in 2007.
This is good news for all your renovation projects! Not only the improvements increase the value of your home, but you can also get tax credits adding certain energy-efficient products. Under this federal law, owners earn credits for the installation water heaters and solar electric systems hot.
